New Demo Room China Opening

On April 9–10, 2026, Essegi Automation officially celebrated the opening of its Chinese headquarters in Shanghai, marking a key milestone in the company’s international expansion journey.

This important achievement represents much more than a simple opening: it is a clear confirmation of Essegi’s commitment to strengthening its presence in Asia, and particularly in China, one of the most dynamic and strategic markets in the global electronics industry.

A Global Vision

During the ceremony, Matteo Padoan, CEO of Essegi Automation, together with Tsujioka Keiji, General Manager of Juki China and strategic partner, officially inaugurated the new facility in front of customers, partners, and stakeholders.

The opening of the Chinese headquarters represents a fundamental step forward: Essegi is evolving from a remote support model to a structured local presence, capable of delivering faster, more effective, and closer support to customer needs.

“Trade cooperation between Italy and China has deep roots. The enormous scale and continuous innovation of China’s electronics industry have always been a key element in our global strategy.”

Matteo Padoan, CEO of Essegi Automation

With this new facility, Essegi aims to strengthen collaboration with local distributors, provide more immediate support, and improve its understanding of local requirements ultimately accelerating the implementation of its solutions.

“China is a country full of opportunities. Being here today for the opening of Essegi China is an extremely meaningful moment.”

Marika Lovato, Head of Marketing and Sales

The goal is clear: to become an even closer partner to Chinese manufacturing companies, supporting them in their transition toward increasingly efficient and digitalized production models.

Hands-on Experience in the Demo Room

DDuring the event, guests, guided by Sales Area Manager Moke Xiong, explored some of the key challenges faced by the electronics industry:

  • complex material management
  • long line changeover times
  • traceability difficulties
  • production characterized by small batches and high variability

Thanks to its extensive field experience, Essegi is able to provide reliable and practical solutions to address these challenges, significantly improving operational efficiency.

Following this, participants attended a complete live demonstration of Essegi Automation solutions, experiencing firsthand an integrated ecosystem for intelligent material management.
